About the Author
Scarlet Honeycutt is a full-time Mom and part-time CPA. She is a life-long resident of Austin, Texas, is married, and has two children, Whitney and Eric. When Whitney was in Kindergarten, Scarlet signed up to read in her class. When it came time for her to read, she decided to write her own book. Every child in the class had his or her name in the story. The children liked it so much that they always asked her, "Do you have a book for us today?" She continued to write for their classes and birthday parties. The author was thrilled when Whitney's second grade teacher used the books as a learning tool with every child in the class reading a page. It was strongly suggested to her to have her work published.

Cindy Aarvig has been "making pictures" for as long as she can remember. While art has always been one of her passions, she has only recently been fortunate enough to pursue it as a profession. In addition to illustrating, Cindy works with a partner painting interior faux finishes and decorative murals. She lives in Austin, Texas, where she and her husband Jeff oversee the three-ring circus they call home which includes three children, Scott, Katie, and Emily (her most helpful critics and fans), and an assortment of furry family members- all of whom keep her on her toes and make life an endless adventure!
